Architectural clock case with cream running glaze over

a brown ground and 8 day striking movement by

Harrison and Sons, Darlington.

Clock cases are very rare nowadays although many were

manufactured but not fitted with movements, possibly due

to difficulties caused by distortion during firing.

Marks: Linthorpe / 1973.

Dresser jug with green mottled running glaze, similar to a

candle holder in metal for Perry & Sons, Wolverhampton.

 

Marks: Linthorpe / Chr Dresser / HT / 606.

Pot-Pourri bowl with flowing green glaze and pierced

decoration of a stylised butterfly and flower heads.

Sky blue glaze to the interior and monogram of Rachel

Smith to the underside of the lid.

Rare ovoid vase with streaky iridescent glaze in shades of green, blue and brown. Marks: Linthorpe / Chr Dresser /

HT / 270. Flanked by two stylish vases, on the left in khaki

green number 1737 and on the right an elegant collared

vase with yellow / brown flowing glaze and streaky blue

glaze to the inner neck, number 1160.
