Architectural clock case with cream running glaze over a brown ground and 8 day striking movement by Harrison and Sons, Darlington. Clock cases are very rare nowadays although many were manufactured but not fitted with movements, possibly due to difficulties caused by distortion during firing. Marks: Linthorpe / 1973. |

Flanked by two stylish vases, on the left in khaki green number 1737 and on the right an elegant collared vase with yellow / brown flowing glaze and streaky blue glaze to the inner neck, number 1160. |
